We are Altha "Loanne" & Roger  J. Maier. We have both enjoyed animals all our lives. We have trained animals for decades,helping people with family pets, or earning titles. We have earned many titles with several dogs in several types of performances. So far never nonqualifying , proudly twice in the "top 10" of the nation .After being on the board to get Rottweilers accepted into AKC herding trials, our "Altaera" was the 1st Rottweiler to earn an AKC herding title .She was an amazing dog, a great friend, & earned 17 other titles.She was in the hall of fame & honor roll.  We have adored our line of Rottweilers for 30 years .Having lost the last 2 in Dec `06, we now have a wonderful oversize silver mini poodle , "Mercury".  We are also Judges in several orgs. We live west of Banks, Oregon. Our home & property is shared with our  Kiger Mustang horses,  "Mercury" & much wildlife. Although we are in the country, it only takes 1/2 hr to get here from Portland, Hillsboro,or Beaverton.
